Who we are

Founded in 2017. Harp Media is a multi-discipline film production company based in the midlands. We develop short and feature length films for general audiences, music videos for established and emerging artists, as well as creative and corporate videos for brands and companies. We also run a series of training initiatives in all areas of filmmaking. We cover all aspects of production from idea generation to post production.

Harp Media was awarded runner-up in the Best Start-up category of the Longford final of Ireland’s Best Young Enterpreneur. Harp Media has received funding from bodies such as Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and Longford Arts Council.

Robert Higgins

Robert Higgins is a director, writer and journalist and co-founder of Harp Media. He is represented by the Marianne Gunn O’Connor Agency. He recently co-wrote and co-directed his first short film “Angels Guard Thee” in Logford later this year, starring Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones) and John Quinn (Love/Hate) with his creative partner Patrick McGivney. He has four years’ experience working in the media. He has created video content for the National Library of Ireland. Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and the Simon Cumbers Media Fundk, amongst others.

Patrick McGivney

Patrick McGivney is director, writer, producer and co-founder of Harp Media. He is a Consultant on the Operational Effectiveness team within PwC’s Advisory Consulting division. He recently co-wrote and co-directed his first short film ‘Angels Guard Thee’ in Longford later this year, starring Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones) and John Quinn (Love/Hate) with his creative partner Robert Higgins. He has four years of experience providing support on numerous consulting engagements across a broad range of industries primarily within the Technology sector. He is currently specialising in Process Excellence and Change Management.
