Brí Leith Walk - Harp Media | Film Company Longford

Join Brendan Farrell, of Ardagh Village Landscapes, as he brings us on a virtual journey through the history, culture and biodiversity of Ardagh Mountain on the Brí Leith of ancient Irish myth. The walk is approximately 4km and is part of a bigger driving, cycling and hiking trail that is intended to go from Ardagh Heritage and Creativity Centre, through the picturesque village of Ardagh, across by the Farrell Castle, Abbeyderg into Kenagh arriving at Corlea Trackway.

It then can be linked up with the canal at Kenagh and The Blueway. This initiative is a long-term project undertaken by Longford Tourism Committee, funded by the Towns and Villages Scheme and facilitated by Coillte. Building the bog road at Corlea is one of Midir’s forfeits in the Legend of Midir and Etain.
